Job Description
KLUTCH seeks an Executive, Sports Partnership Sales to lead sponsorship and brand partnership efforts across the sports industry. This role requires a seasoned sales executive with deep industry relationships, particularly with rights holders and Chief Revenue Officers (CROs), and a proven ability to source and close high-value brand deals. You will lead one of the most significant opportunities, overseeing all aspects of its development and execution. You will be responsible for managing client teams, driving end-to-end deal execution, and developing innovative sponsorship strategies. The ideal candidate has a track record of securing major brand partnerships, a strong understanding of the sports sponsorship ecosystem, and the ability to provide full-service deal execution, from sourcing to closing.
The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $250,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
• Lead high-impact opportunities, overseeing all aspects of their development and execution.
• Lead sponsorship sales efforts, identifying and securing brand partnership opportunities for KLUTCH Sports Group's clients.
• Develop and execute sponsorship strategies that align with brand objectives and maximize revenue opportunities.
• Manage client teams, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment with properties, and brand partners.
• Source, negotiate, and close high-value sponsorship deals, working directly with rights holders, Chief Revenue Officers (CROs), and senior brand executives.
• Provide end-to-end deal service, overseeing all aspects from initial outreach and proposal development to contract execution and activation.
• Leverage industry relationships to drive new business opportunities and maintain strong partnerships with brands and properties.
• Analyze market trends, brand positioning, and sponsorship valuation to inform sales strategies and pitch development.
What You Will Need
• 8+ years of experience in sports partnership sales or sponsorships.
• Established network of brand executives, rights holders, and CROs within the sports industry.
• A proven ability to source, negotiate, and close multi-million-dollar sponsorship deals.
• Strong understanding of sports marketing, sponsorship valuation, and partnership strategy.
• Exceptional relationship management skills, with experience managing both clients and internal teams.
• Expertise in pitching, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while managing multiple high-profile deals.
• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Google Docs, etc.) to track sales pipelines and deal flow.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and key stakeholders.
