Dick Clark Productions: SVP, Sales
Dick Clark Productions is hiring a Senior Vice President of Sales ideally with 10+ years of experience in content partnerships sales, business development, and account management, in the music industry, live event entertainment, tentpoles, or in unscripted television.
The SVP is responsible for actively developing and driving revenue growth via existing and new brand partners, in a multi-faceted sales capacity, across Dick Clark Production properties, inclusive of: The Golden Globes, Academy of Country Music Awards, The Billboard Music Awards, The Streamys, American Music Awards and New Year's Rockin' Eve. As an active and critical member of the dcp brand and partnerships team, the SVP will drive top line growth through customer base, as well as growth revenue from existing clients, to achieve revenue goals.
This individual will be a key contributor on the Sponsorships and Brand Partnerships team, focused on sales initiatives and management, contract retention, financial growth objectives, and to grow business with existing accounts, as well as expanding the team's client and customer base. The SVP is responsible for maintaining and strengthening DCP's relationships with distribution partners and expected to play a key role in helping shape the overall growth strategy for driving partnership revenue and profits relating the sponsors, advertisers, locations and venues.

Primary Responsibilities:
Client Partnership Development and Account Management:
• Actively pursue and secure revenue from new and existing clients, to achieve annual, and event revenue goals, with a focus on lead generation, sales, and closing business.
• Identify and develop sales strategy and plans to secure new business opportunities and strategic accounts to achieve corporate objectives, and drive consistent revenue growth
• Establish and build relationships with key decision makers for client and media agencies, while expanding dcp's partnership business into new categories and verticals to attract new business and drive sales.
• Work closely with Dick Clark Productions' management team to develop business pipeline, and execute client/partnership deals, and effectively leverage dcp IP and portfolio to create multi-million-dollar cross platform initiatives.
• Lead major contract negotiations; shape and lead complex deal structures and contract negotiations.
• Work closely with the marketing team to define and implement go-to-market strategy, within select categories
• Establish and maintain relationships with client personnel
• Plan, execute, and track existing contract renewals
Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years of proven experience in content partnerships sales, business development, and account management, in the music industry, live event entertainment, tentpoles, or unscripted television, strongly preferred
• Experience in negotiating multi-platform, multi-year deals
• Deep network and current rolodex of active contacts and established relationships with Eastern and Western region brand clients and agencies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled at both strategy and tactical execution.
• Solutions-oriented and skilled at creative deal making with premium partners.
• Excellent presentation and writing skills (decks, term sheets, memos, executive summaries, etc.).

• Motivate and clearly communicate with staff
Typical wage range: $180k - $200k + commission. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
