Assistant, Sales (1 year contract)

Sony Pictures is integral to the content eco-system in India; bringing world-class content to our audiences. Based in our Mumbai office, this role requires an enterprising individual with good inter-personal skills to help expand and add value to the company's financial goals in the South Asian region. The role will entail ownership and execution of all post sale processes to ensure smooth closure of content licensing deals. It will subsequently expand to undertaking of sales initiatives which add to the overall target achievement.

In this role you will be responsible for:
• Post-sales client servicing which includes on-boarding, legal documentation and managing material delivery by Sony on time-based deadlines
• Market scoping and developing new potential clients as part of Sony's expansion plans
• Pre-sales readiness – curate content based on client's current target audience, creating pitch decks
• Taking up sales initiatives – ownership of client relationships, negotiations and pricing to bring deals to closure
• Interfacing with current partners – follow-ups; logistical help to bring deals to fructification

To be considered for this role you will have:
• Graduate or postgraduate in any field, media/marketing preferable
• Prior work-experience in sales or marketing at internship level is not required but will be an added bonus
• Well versed with MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Attention to detail and expert in time-based turn around
• High interest is pursuing a career in the media industry
• Quick learner
