Assistant Editor - Creative Content (L700 union) - 3-6 months

Temporary Assistant Editor (L700 Union) - 3-6 months

Provide assistant editorial support to the Creative Content team in the Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group. Preferably has experience in film marketing, specifically creative content (making of materials including original content, interviews, and behind-the-scenes). Excited to learn about camera types, compression, codecs, and organization. Prefer experience in Final Cut Pro X and Compressor. Will be logging, cataloging, and distributing media. Excited to learn the finishing process, including color and mixing, since our team finishes our own materials.

Requirement:
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize to ensure that all assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Must be flexible – an ability to work well in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to much revision
• Common sense, dependability, discretion and attention to detail are required
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral (must have a professional and courteous demeanor)
• Should have an interest in creative content
• Continued employment is contingent upon you joining/remaining in good standing with L700 union.
