Associate Producer (Temp)
The Job
NetherRealm Studios, a division of WB Games Inc, and developers of Mortal Kombat and Injustice, seeks an Associate Producer to be responsible for coordination on one or more AAA projects. This position directly supports product development by providing communications, organizational, and coordination to the production staff. The Associate Producer will be the key information conduit for the studio as pertains to specific assigned areas of ownership and will work as part of the full production team to provide broad support in constructing the highest possible quality of finished product. This position will be involved in all phases of production.
The ideal candidate has previously been part of a production team, has dealt with complex development projects, and has deep familiarity with the game development process.
The Daily
• Build tracking mechanisms to ensure careful and detailed information is both updated and publicly visible as pertains to assigned areas of responsibility.
• Proactively seek information across all development teams as pertains to assigned area of responsibility to ensure that all team needs are met and documented.
• Communicate regularly with the Executive Producer, Team Leads, and Production team as pertains to assigned area of responsibility through regular updates and status reports.
• Coordinate tool evaluations with relevant groups, track all account accesses, and follow-up with relevant groups on progress of these evaluations.
• Interact with legal on relevant elements as assigned by the Executive Producer.
The Essentials
• Minimum of 2 years of production experience, optimally in the game industry
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and work prioritization skills
The Nice to Haves
• Bachelor's degree in business or related areas
