We're seeking a passionate and driven Post Coordinator to join our busy Post Production team. This position performs various administrative activities and is responsible for assuring effective communication and documentation between freelance staff and Post Operations. Film 45's Post team cover a wide gamut of operations, everything from supporting our shoots with hardware and technical guidance to automated ingest, grouping, system tracking and allocation, offline editorial, conforming, color, online, mix and deliverables. A successful candidate would show interest in all the above areas and would support the Senior teams by taking on the 'day to day' administrative overhead away from them.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain the postproduction database of staff and resources.
• Understand talent needs for shows and get avails from appropriate talent to present to clients and executives.
• Taking a lead in onboarding and offboarding freelance staff. This includes coordinating start paperwork as well as working alongside IT and Creative Technologies teams to ensure a seamless onboarding for the talent.
• Track DIT equipment usage and make sure equipment is dispatched and returned and processed correctly.
• Assist in general office paperwork, invoices and organization.
• Assist Media Central with tracking, ingesting and creating media backups.
• Work closely with Senior Post Management to facilitate development requests and associated editorial needs.
• Collaborate with freelance staff on ensuring clear expectations, company processes and documentation alignment.
• Helps track and traffic elements between productions, post-facilities and the Studio - facilitates the delivery for all project-related elements.

Education and Work Experience:
• 2+ years of Post Production experience (preferred)

Core Competencies:
• Excellent organizational & follow-through skills.
• Working knowledge of post production/understanding of technical terms and processes.
• Understanding of Media workflows and post processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively & tactfully with managers and other levels of personnel.
• Ability to work well under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Able to solve problems quickly, with good judgement.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Computer skills including, but not limited to Google suite, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Familiarly with collaboration tools likeTeams, Airtable, FrameIO.
• Self-starter and loves to solve puzzles.
• Desire to continue a career in Post Production.
• Must be able to lift 15 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Basic familiarity with Avid, Premiere and file management software. (preferred)

Requirements:
• Available to work outside of normal office hours: collaborating with different time zones may require occasional early morning PST time starts, weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Range Minimum:
$15.96 hourly
