Communications Coordinator - IMG Fashion

IMG is seeking a coordinator to support global communications for IMG's fashion properties, including IMG Models, The Wall Group and IMG's fashion events portfolio, which includes New York Fashion Week : The Shows , Australian Fashion Week , MADE, in-house production company IMG FOCUS., among other properties . The role is based in New York and will report to IMG's VP
of Communications , Fashion.

In this position, you will support IMG's broader f ashion PR team by leveraging your creativity and hustle to promote IMG's events , executives, talent and partners through 360-degree communications campaigns and initiatives . You will serve as a direct point of contact for the media, represented talent, agents, sponsor s, designer PRs and external publicists, navigating both internal and external network s to contribute media results that advance IMG's leadership in the fashion industry .

You should be a strategic and savvy communications professional with early career experience in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle and/or entertainment industries. You must possess a passion for these industries as well as demonstrable work ethic, agility, relationship-building skills,
organizational prowess and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• Support the development and implementation of f ashion PR strateg ies across all earned media and owned communication channels
• Research, route and coordinate press inquiries for IMG fashion talent and executives
• Assist the fashion communications team with drafting and disseminating media alerts, press releases, messaging and briefing documents
• Develop and foster external relationships with fashion and lifestyle media, directly pitching and securing stories on behalf of IMG businesses, talent, executives and partner s
• Track artist, executive and company press and mentions , as well as industry trend stories, to compile daily press reports distributed across the fashion network
• Support client PR initiatives across the IMG fashion network on an ad-hoc basis
• Manage seasonal comprehensive press reports for N ew York Fashion Week : The Shows, working closely with media monitoring services Talkwalker , Launchmetrics and Endeavor Analytics
• Monitor and maintain a master calendar for global fashion events, including launches, signings and relevant brand and talent activations
• Manage and regularly update global master fashion and beauty media contacts list (requiring a working knowledge of CisionPoint and/or similar platforms)
• Support onsite media operations for domestic events
• Develop and maintain expertise in all available communications tools and/or techniques, including new media, measurement platforms, and newswires

Requirements:
• At least two years' relevant public relations , communication s
or marketing experience (internship experience considered)
• Superlative project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to deftly navigate and communicate across all levels of leadership
• Demonstrable ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proficiency in all MS Office applications
• Experience working in live events setting ( preferred )
• E ditorial relationships with fashion, beauty and lifestyle media ( preferred )
