Account Manager, Strategy & Scheduling

Job Description

The Harry Walker Agency, the World's Leading Speakers Agency, is seeking an Account Manager for Speaker Strategy and Scheduling. This person will serve as the liaison with our Speaker's offices, working to help communicate invitations from potential hosting organizations. The Account Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating the details associated with details of Speaker invitations. This person in this position must be detail oriented, a proactive problem solver, and be a collaborative team player. This role will need to manage workflow from multiple channels.

The candidate should have at least 3 years work experience in scheduling or event planning. Any level of experience staffing principals, or VIPs, is a plus. This person will need to have excellent oral and written communication skills, must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and have a calm and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities
• Develop professional relationships with Speakers and their offices
• Work with internal departments [ex: sales, contracts] to ensure Speaker invitations and confirmed event contracts are executed successfully
• Prepare invitation memos for Speaker's offices and assist in developing and meeting deadlines
• Assist the Research department with special projects as needed

Desired Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years work experience
• Background in event planning and scheduling or logistics
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
• Superb organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Ability to negotiate and find creative solutions
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Creative thinking and a positive, can-do attitude under pressure a must!
• Strong computer skills: Word, Outlook, Excel. CRM database experience is helpful but not required as is twitter and other social media knowledge

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Range Minimum:
$60,000 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:
$88,000 annually
