A little bit about our team:

Distribution Operations is responsible for all physical supply chain processes across the entirety of product lines under WEA Distribution. The department's core focus is to work cohesively with all WMG divisions and departments globally, as well as outside vendors, carriers, and label partners, to ensure that the highest quality of products are distributed to customers in a timely manner. Key functions shared by the Distribution Operations team include inventory management, manufacturing, order fulfilment, compliance, and logistics.

Your role:

The Product Sourcing Coordinator works with the VP of Product Sourcing to ensure all vendors are scheduling product deliveries in adherence to Inventory Distribution deadlines and that we in turn hit our customers' deadlines without added expense. Under the guidance of the VP of Product Sourcing, the Product Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for working across all product platforms in collaboration with all departments (Release Operations, Production, Sales, and Inventory Management). You will work with both internal and external manufacturing and freight partners to obtain deliverables while optimizing efficiency and cost-savings.

Here you will:
• Assist the VP of Product Sourcing to effectively schedule manufacturing of products with global vendors.
• Collaborate with Release Operations Production teams to create Bill of Material (BOM) specifications while ensuring both timely and accurate entry into all systems to accommodate Purchase Order placement by Inventory Managers.
• Assist with overview of delivery of complete and approved manufacturing source materials to manufacturing suppliers.
• Effectively communicate missed source material deadlines and offer alternative dating/ capacity scheduling.
• Be responsible for monitoring and reviewing Work In Progress (WIP) and forecast tools for accuracy.
• Monitor schedules and report any inconsistencies of inbound goods with vendors across all product lines and configurations into the US Distribution Centers.
• Review the inbound goods-in receipt process at US 3PL facilities, audit for variances and address non-compliances with vendors.
• In the absence of the VP of Product Sourcing, be the central point of contact for product scheduling and capacity issues.

About you:
• You possess a proven ability to motivate, support, and collaborate with various teams.
• You have excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to initiate and drive improvements.
• You have a history of excelling in fast-paced, high-energy environments. You can execute and manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
• You possess an acute attention to detail. You have eloquent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• You are deadline and task-driven; efficient and punctual.
• You are resourceful and intuitive.
• You are practiced at working both collaboratively and autonomously.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• You have 2+ years related experience in distribution logistics or product purchasing/ manufacturing.

• Possess and readily share thorough knowledge of our department, organization, and industry.
• Bachelor's Degree related to Supply Chain Management.

Salary Range

Salary Ranges are included for all NY, California job postings and 100% remote roles where talent can be located. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs.
