Front of House Assistant Seasonal/Part Time

The Utah Jazz Seasonal Part-Time Front of House (FOH) Assistant will report to the Director of Performance Nutrition, while assisting the Dining Room Attendant on a daily basis. The FOH Assistant will have a unique experience being able to work alongside the nutrition and culinary aspects of daily operations. This position will need to feel comfortable adapting to new environments, be a team player and act on job duties quickly and efficiently to provide top-tier hospitality. Resume is required to be considered. Able to start no later than September 1st 2025. $17 per hour.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the Dining Room Attendant and Director of Performance Nutrition
• Maintain clean and stocked fueling stations and coffee station
• Manage specialty snack prep for dining room fueling station
• Assist in plane and game day needs and prep
• Prepare shakes for players, coaches, staff and front office, as requested
• Complete inventory and receiving as assigned by the Director of Performance Nutrition
• Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas
• Knowledgeable on the team/organization's allergies, intolerances and dietary restrictions
• Assist in accepting packages from front desk reception
• Ability to work autonomously when necessary
• Follow proper reporting procedures for accidents and incidents to ensure follow-up and prevention
• Ensure quality and safety of food by performing standard and any additional sanitary measures including sweeping of the floors, cleaning of surfaces, as well as proper covering and storage of food items according to standards and procedures
• Adhere to all regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials and fire safety.
• Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Dining Room Attendant and the Director of Performance Nutrition

• 1 - 3 years of kitchen and/or nutrition related experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
• This person must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Will be exposed to hot and cold temperatures, such as when working near ovens or retrieving food from freezers.
