Travel Services Manager

Job Description

UTA seeks an experienced Travel Services Manager to expertly provide excellent concierge level support to the agency. This person will have a proven track record building a center of excellence within a global company while continuously improving systems, processes, resources, pricing and vendor network.

What You'll Do
• Provide excellent and expedited turnaround on travel within the agency for air, hotel, rental car, ground transportation, dining reservations, offsite meetings and special events
• Proactively evaluate and establish best practices for travel across the agency in partnership with leadership
• Use systems, data analytics, direct feedback and RFP processes to continuously improve service, pricing and satisfaction levels
• Ensure excellent client services and expedited results for all departments, levels and geography across the entire agency with an appreciation for local solutions to meet business objectives
• Will provide reporting, data and analytics to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to established service levels
• Proactively enhances and manages the enterprise-wide travel and expense policy in partnership with leadership
• Ensures all appropriate documentation and internal control/compliance standards are met (process, templates, tools, contract database, etc.) while still providing fast and effective clients services
• Experience implementing and managing online travel booking tools, corporate credit cards, meeting planning, and corporate events travel
• Uses effective communication skills to drive change and share the travel program's value proposition

What You Need
• 4+ years of experience managing travel services
• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will enable this person to build effective relationships with a range of personalities and styles in a fast-paced business environment and to work effectively with people at many different levels
• Must be an effective team player with experience working on cross-functional teams
• Must work well in partnership with the Client Services & Travel Manger
• Must be driven, strategic, results-oriented individual and have an effective problem-solving approach to all projects
• Must be well-organized and have a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of entertainment is a plus
• Must be an excellent people manager
• Should have experience delivering traveler training program and process
