Job Description
UTA seeks a Senior Level People Business Partner for our Beverly Hills office. You will work closely with our employees and leaders in the corporate functions to provide world-class HR support in a variety of areas, including organizational development, employee relations, retention and reward initiatives, performance and change management. You will be critical in creating and executing UTA's People Team initiatives, providing strong internal HR support, and leading HR functional excellence and process improvement across a diverse employee base.
The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $180,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do:
• Collaborate closely with UTA executives to enhance leadership development, ensuring engagement, retention, and professional growth of our current and next-generation leaders
• Develop, lead, and measure the effectiveness of initiatives that enhance employee engagement, commitment, and inclusion, promoting a collaborative culture across teams
• Act as a strategic business leader, contributing to key business decisions and aligning HR strategies with organizational goals
• Spearhead organizational design and change management initiatives, ensuring they align with business needs and promote operational efficiency
• Design and implement strategies that boost organizational, team, and individual performance, thereby enhancing overall business capabilities
• Champion a workplace culture that empowers employees to make impactful contributions and fosters a sense of belonging and achievement
• Serve as an advisor to client groups, promoting and advocating for policies that support UTA's business and talent strategies
• Collaborate with managers, executives, and functional leaders to advise on people-related needs, career progression efforts and lead talent planning discussions
• Offer coaching and mentoring to management and staff, providing guidance on complex employee relations matters and fostering professional development
• Advance programs and initiatives related to compensation design and administration (salary benchmarking, bonus, and annual merit review)
• Identify business and employee needs for Executive and Management coaching
• Partner with the Recruiting team to strategize workforce planning and recruit top talent, aligning staffing with UTA's strategic business needs
• Collaborate with the Learning and Development Team, Agent Trainee and Intern Program Specialists, and the Inclusion Team, to tailor and support regional programs
• Conduct exit interviews, document findings, and analyze trends to develop strategies that enhance employee retention and satisfaction
• Continuously assess and enhance employee engagement levels across the organization through targeted strategies
• Deliver HR best practices by fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement through internal knowledge sharing and external benchmarking
• Actively promote and nurture a culture of inclusion, belonging, and professional development, ensuring UTA remains a welcoming and progressive workplace
What You Will Need
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field preferred strongly preferred
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR), a plus
• 10+ years of directly relevant, professional HR experience; with prior experience in an HR Generalist/HRBP role supporting multiple client groups
• Working knowledge of federal and various state employment laws
• Proven ability in people data analytics and delivering data-driven HR solutions
• Record of developing and coaching staff, and managing performance to meet or exceed standards of excellence
• Experience in conflict resolution and organizational management practices, preferably within a matrixed environment
• Low on ego and high on EQ, be a true team player who naturally knows when to lead, when to support, when to inspire and, at times, when to say no
• Demonstrated ability to work across departmental and group lines to influence outcomes
• Sophisticated customer service skills required; professional services industry experience preferred
• Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions to integrate HR and business strategies
• Excellent presentation skills
• Intermediate level experience with Word and Excel, including but not limited to charts, pivot tables and filters
• Experience with HRIS systems, experience with Workday is a plus
• Proven ability to establish strong relationships with management at all levels while maintaining independent judgment
• Proven track record of working successfully with a multinational, culturally diverse, and geographically dispersed workforce.
• Experience in managing HR functions in rapidly growing and changing environments
