Senior Analyst, Workday (Absence and Benefits)

UTA seeks a skilled and dedicated Senior Analyst, People System with deep expertise in Workday Absence and Benefits modules to join our dynamic team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with global absence policy, supporting benefits operations, and enhancing Workday capabilities across our organization. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in configuring, supporting, and optimizing Workday Absence and Benefits, with a strong understanding of multi-country policies, eligibility rules, and vendor integrations.

The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $140,000 commensurate with experience and skills.

What You Will Do
• Serve as the Workday Absence and Benefits lead, responsible for the end-to-end configuration, maintenance, and optimization of these modules.
• Define, build, and implement Absence and Benefits business processes aligned with business objectives, enhancing user experience and maximizing the value of the Workday platform as complexity increases.
• Support the annual Benefits Open Enrollment event, including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication.
• Configure eligibility rules, absence plans (time off and leave), open enrollment, and benefit events in alignment with global policies.
• Ensure accurate compliance with region-specific requirements, such as leave laws, statutory benefits, and healthcare regulations across US and multiple countries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Absence and Benefits events, enrollment processing, accruals, and absence balances.
• Partner with the internal Benefits Team and Payroll to streamline benefit and leave administration workflows.
• Manage Workday updates and releases, specifically analyzing and testing changes impacting Absence and Benefits functionality.
• Collaborate with benefits team to support and maintain benefits integrations run with vendors (e.g., CCB Benefits connector, basic RaaS,).
• Provide guidance and training to internal HR team and end users to drive adoption and understanding of Workday Absence and Benefits feature

What You Will Need
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Workday, with a minimum of 5 years focused on Absence and/or Benefits modules.
• Workday PRO Certification in Absence and/or Benefits is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience supporting global absence and benefits configurations (e.g., US, UK, EMEA).
• Strong understanding of Workday eligibility rules, condition logic, business processes, EIBs, and reporting.
• Experience with benefits vendor file feeds and troubleshooting enrollment discrepancies.
• Clear and effective communication skills for engaging cross-functional teams and end users.
