Job Description
UTA is seeking a Senior Analyst, Compensation to join our dynamic People team. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Compensation in the creation, management, and implementation of the company's compensation policies and programs. This role involves administering compensation plans that are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and company goals. The Senior Analyst, Compensation will help evaluate market data, support compensation-related decision-making, and assist with the development of innovative compensation strategies to attract, retain, and engage employees. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and will support the Director of Compensation in ensuring compensation practices aligning business objectives.
The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $125,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
Job Architecture & Evaluation
• Support the development and implementation of job architecture, including career ladders, job families, and leveling frameworks
• Evaluate and level new and existing roles to ensure alignment with organizational goals and job architecture standards
• Partner with the Director of Compensation to ensure titles and job descriptions are consistent with internal frameworks and external market norms
Compensation Benchmarking & Program Design
• Conduct market analyses and benchmark roles to ensure equitable and competitive compensation across the organization
• Administer compensation surveys, analyze results, and provide data-driven recommendations on salary ranges and structures
• Assist in the design and implementation of total rewards programs that align with the job architecture and broader compensation strategy
Organizational Support & Reorg Alignment
• Partner with People Business Partners and business leaders to align compensation structures with reorganizations, role transitions, and other organizational changes
• Draft and present compensation recommendations in support of workforce planning and job architecture initiatives
Tools, Reporting & Project Support
• Build tools, dashboards, and reports to enhance compensation processes and support the job architecture rollout
• Track project timelines and deliverables, and help coordinate efforts across People, Legal, and business teams under the guidance of the Director of Compensation
• Participate in compensation survey submissions and provide insights on market trends to keep the company's pay structures competitive
What You Will Need
• Minimum 3+ years of prior experience in compensation, preferably within the entertainment or media industry
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field strongly preferred
• International compensation experience is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with solid skills in PowerPoint and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and concisely
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders across all levels, including senior leadership
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with proven ability to design, improve, and support compensation programs
