Job Description
UTA seeks a full-time professional Receptionist at our New York City office. The ideal candidate is someone who prides themselves on organization, can multitask, take direction well, work well with others, has a positive and professional disposition, can learn quickly and prioritize tasks. We are seeking individuals who can commit to this position for a minimum of 1-2 years before seeking advancement opportunities within the agency.
This role will pay $22.00 per hour plus benefits.
What You will Do
• Greet visitors as they arrive and alert appropriate parties of said arrival
• Maintain safe and clean reception and common areas by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintain security by following procedures for external guests
• Answer phones and direct callers to appropriate person
• Schedule conference rooms and offices
• Help with setup and breakdown of events
• Schedule catering and assist with delivery and set-up
• Capable of sitting, standing, and lifting up to 25 lbs
What You Will Need
• 1+ years experience working in a high-volume work environment
• Previous experience in a reception, hostess or related role preferred
• Possess professionalism and friendly, team player personality
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
• Competency in multi-tasking
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Resourceful and well organized
