Assistant, Media Production

Job Description

UTA seeks an Assistant to join the Media Production group in the Los Angeles or New York office. This individual will play an administrative and editorial role.

The Media Production group is an in-house content creation studio, comprised of producers, editors and videographers. The team concepts, shoots and edits an eclectic array of short-form video content for both the UTA brand and its clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating meetings for the Co-Heads of the Media Production and editing client marketing materials (showreels, clips, short form content)

What You Will Do
• Administrative duties including coordinating and scheduling meetings.
• Managing expenses and payments
• Develop and maintain relationships with all internal departments
• Assist in the editing of client marketing materials and other Editing video assets used to create client marketing materials.
• Edit client work sample, montages, and reels.
• Edit UTA branded webinars, social media clip & other communications deliverables.
• Participate in group creative brainstorms and project development.
• Assist the Media Production team's Project Coordinator in setting up and sharing projects, media, brand guides and file access points with freelancers and outside vendors.
• Occasionally act as a production assistant and assist with video production shoots.

What You Will Need
• 1+ years of experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Box, Slack, Asana, Zoom
• Experience with editing and review software, Adobe Creative Cloud apps, Frame IO.
• Strong problem-solving, listening and skills.
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Organized with attention to detail
• Creative mindset with a demonstrated passion for editing
