Job Description
• Collaborate with the art team to understand the overall game vision and rigging and skinning needs.
• Recognize proper mesh topology and performance limitations and give feedback to supporting departments.
• Rig and skin characters, objects and weapons while staying organized to meet the needs of the project and teams.
• Find balance between artistic aspects and technical constraints with the help of technical directors.
• Work closely with animators to make models move believably and overcome any motion-related limitations.
• Iterate to improve your work based on feedback from interdependent teams.

Qualifications
• Experience in video game rigging with understanding of modelling and/or animation.
• Knowledge of DCC rigging techniques within a real-time production, supported by strong scripting experience.
• Solid understanding of physics and secondary rigging techniques within a real-time environment
• Knowledge of the limitations of the game engine and production needs
• Ability to profile, identify and address art and animation production bottlenecks.
• Excellent observation, problem-solving, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A highly collaborative, creative, and innovative spirit with flexibility and resourcefulness
• Ability to communicate constructively with positivity and respect for others with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
