Ticketing Operations Assistant (Fixed Term Contract)Location: Manchester (Fully based in the office)
Division: Ticketing Operations, Ticketmaster Sport
Line Manager: Ticketing Operations Lead
Contract Terms: Fixed Term Contract (initially 5 months), 35 Hours per week (to business requirements), Monday to Sunday (5 of 7 days)
THE TEAM
Ticketing Operations provides a range of membership and ticketing support for major sporting clubs and events. We're a diverse team with a genuine passion for providing excellent service to our clients and their supporters.
THE JOB
The summer period is traditionally an exciting time for Ticketing Operations at Ticketmaster Sport as our clients ramp up their preparations ahead of next season, cup finals take place, trophies are handed out for the season while there are also some major one-off events we will be supporting!
Successful applicants will be fully trained on all our clients' systems to equip them to offer all-round support in each of these areas according to constantly changing demands.
Core responsibilities will involve interacting with fans via customer support phone lines and email, amongst other associated tasks.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Providing membership support on behalf of sports clients/events via customer service phone lines to assist supporters with queries, sales and renewals.
• Processing email queries from supporters and customers to assist with sale and renewal processes.
• Establishing a solid understanding of company systems to provide the appropriate level of excellent customer service expected by clients.
• Accurately prepare membership items for dispatch and provide full membership benefits.
• Admin duties in preparation for events to ensure an efficient process in the build up to events, on the day support and delegated tasks from the management team.
• Supporting the Ticketing Operations Assistant Core Team in their responsibilities to assist in meeting targets.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
• Customer Service experience.
• Call Centre experience preferable.
• Excellent written English in order to professionally respond to customer queries via email.
• Proven history of consistently achieving targets.
• A basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• An enthusiasm for sport is preferable.
