Director, Post Production Feature Operations & Business Development

Responsibilities
• Scheduling of the 5 Large Format Mix Stages, as well as overseeing the scheduling of the 9 Mid to Small Format Mix Stages
• Management and oversight on every mix project, including billing, scheduling, and client relations
• Creation of all 3rd party Feature budgets, and approval of all mix budgets for Columbia feature bids
• Track budgets for all 3rd party projects and approve all ovg estimates for both 3rd party and Columbia feature mixes.
• Provide financial justification for Feature Mix Stage CapEx Projects within the department
• Approve Feature Mixer and Mix Technicians invoices and timecard
• Review Prebills for Feature, Home Theater, International and IMAX Mixes before sending and requesting a PO or approval
• Cover Manager of TV Sound when out of the office.
• Create and manage daily work orders for Feature Mixing
• Review and approve Mix Tech Work logs and update rates and any other billables for Feature Sound in ShowManager
• Negotiation of talent rates on a ''per project'' basis.
• Negotiation with the client for any Feature Mix Stage overages during the project.
• Preparation and management on Feature Sound division budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee and collaborate with Assoc Manager, Feature Sound Services for all hiring of mix stage personnel

The anticipated base salary for this position is $105,000 to $139,100. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
