Director, Global Digital Client Services - Global Mastering & Servicing

TVOD (Transactional VOD) Client Services team enables the growth of Sony Pictures digital content distribution through leadership and enhancement of the Digital Supply Chain, ensuring on-time and high-quality avails and content deliveries, as well as the accurate execution of strategic initiatives via flexible and scalable processes. The Director will play a broad and vital role to lead successful supply chain planning and execution of global & international initiatives for the Digital business, e.g. Digital Acceleration, ''One Sony'' - Bravia CORE, VOD Transition & Project Diamond. He/she will play a people leadership role overseeing Client Services team members for various international territories and customers, including Platform (strategic partner in 100+ territories) APAC and LATAM (Approx. 44 territories & 70 customers and counting). The Director will play both a strategic and hands-on role driving end to end supply chain excellence for these areas.

Reporting to the ED, the Director will partner with various commercial leads and key stakeholders to plan/create supply chain strategies and lead operational efforts to grow the international Digital business, supporting the Digital Acceleration revenue growth goal and ''One Sony'' globalization goals.

As the TVOD international scope continues to increase (7% territory & 112% customer volume increase within just a year), a bridge between Home Office and International is needed for global success. Furthermore, it has become more critical to bridge gaps between operational and business teams as more Digital business models strategies consolidate, e.g. integration of VOD models with EST models, etc. The Director will play this vital role, partnering with counterpart(s) to develop and ensure processes and best practices are set forth globally across the TVOD Client Services team.

Responsibility

People Leadership – Lead a team of 3 Managers plus co-manage APAC team member based in Asia

• Lead, coach and develop each team member driving success to business needs strategically and day to day
• Steer Asia based team member through supply chain intricacies of APAC region
• Time/Work Allocation across team – Pivoting as needed with evolving business priorities

Supply Chain Success management – Platform, APAC/LATAM, Global partners
• Oversee and hands-on strategic management of the most critical supply chain aspects for our most critical customers – Avails/Pricing, Artwork/Metadata/Digital Storefront and Order/Content Fulfillment
• Leverage data reporting to develop and/or measure KPI's, e.g. on-time avails and delivery, quality in-spec metrics across all media: metadata/art, video, sub/dubs, cost/spend reporting & analysis on material content
• Ensure SPE's internal systems, processes and data reflect current/future state territory law requirements, e.g. content ratings/censorship
• Lead team on success across supply chain to support territory/business needs, including Client Onboarding (includes Client Profile management), Territory/Client satisfaction and end to end operational execution on all release plans

Process & Systems leadership, development & improvement across supply chain: Onboarding, Avails, Artwork, Metadata, Material Fulfillment, Cost/Budget Management
• Develop, steward and partner with Director of Home Office-Client Services on key best practices for cutting edge business processes piloted internationally and/or from Home office to international
• As the international bridge, lead Knowledge Management efforts & best practices for cross team info sharing
• Drive continuous enhancement of systems & processes partnering with IT, Systems & Workflow teams and various stakeholders (PRISM/HUB, Project Diamond, Smart Engine, Business Objects, etc.)
• Project Diamond: Serve as business partner representing Client Services, driving internal capabilities and success to ingest global Digital remittance/sales data and recognize revenue
• Lead Partner integration efforts as they arise
• As part of the core team, embrace development and adoption of Digital Standards and Best Practices as they mature/evolve (ex, EIDR, EMA Avails, IMF, Common Media Manifest, ALID)
• Understand and act as an advocate core business data automation and Roadmap

New initiative project execution – Digital Acceleration, ''One Sony'' Global
• Develop and/or lead project plans and team members to meet business/initiative goals, includes internal/external partnerships, strategic business growth projects such as launching new territories, leading data management efforts tied to Digital contracts
• Big picture oversight of project success to transition all VOD partners/deals into TVOD's PRISM system-driven supply chain
• Delegate to team members where needed to spearhead to success

Commercial Partnership - Lead & Communicate at executive level
• Partner with key Commercial executives to understand and anticipate needs, both short and long term
• Creatively and with urgency lead/execute fast-paced, late-breaking business requirements by Commercial leads
• Prioritize long-term strategic goals along with ad hoc projects or production priorities

• 5-7 years experience business acumen and communication
• 2 years experience short and long-term strategy development and execution
• 3 years experience team management
