Job Description

Based in our office in Seoul, South Korea, our Sales Department has an exciting opportunity for someone to join them in the role of Coordinator on a contract basis through to December 2024!

As a Sales department for Sony Pictures Releasing International (SPRI), we research and decide the best time to release our movies. Working closely with marketing team and exhibitors, we are responsible for the box office success of releases in theatres across the Korean market.

In this role, you will be providing support for Sony Pictures titles as well as coordinating SPIP local titles distribution for the sales team.

Core responsibilities Include:
• Coordinate SPIP local titles distribution related tasks - Support communication with key partners, marketing team/agencies, and SPIP/Finance teams.
• Support SPRI titles distribution related duties - exhibitor partnership, communication with theatres, vendors, and other studios
• Support data analysis and collection of industry information (release schedule changes, P&A, BO targets, trade news, rumours.)
• Support Senior coordinator/Manager.

Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum Degree qualification in business administration, or relevant discipline
• Typically at least 1 to 2 years of experience in film distribution/theatrical exhibition field
• Good communicator with good command in both English and Korean
• A team-player
