The TV Distribution Sales Planning team is responsible for setting and delivering our product distribution strategy, supporting negotiations and delivering the end-to-end sales process. This includes franchise planning, managing product availabilities and rights, negotiation and pricing support, contract review and execution, and budget and forecasting.
Our London office has a new opportunity for a Analyst, Sales Planning & Operations to join the Sales Planning and Operations team in TV Distribution supporting the CEEMA territories (CEE, Middle East, Africa, Russia & CIS). In this position you will work across all Linear media and SVOD/AVOD/FVOD, with a particular focus on Transactional VoD and EST, and supporting the Russian Sales Planning the Russia Sales Planning Manager on digital deals.

The candidate will ideally have a background in TV Distribution or have worked previously in a media role with some existing knowledge of the broadcast landscape and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

Key Responsibilities

The job's most important functions and responsibilities include:

Deal Management & Administration
• Set up and maintain deals in Sales & Rights Management systems (RPM); create Finance Release Packages in (S2F - Sales to Finance) and Materials Orders as required for deal management.
• Manage contractual obligations and ensure all deadlines are met as detailed in the contracts
• Run and Analyse reports for available product, and identify appropriate titles that meet client and sales criteria, and maximise sales potential
• Track the workflow and approval process of new Contracts, Amendments and Notification for all deals in territories within the region, including appropriate filing of final documents.
• Draft simple contract drafts and amendments using standard templates, working with Legal team when necessary
• Assist in deal execution working closely with Sales and Legal on contract drafting, documentation and execution.
• Ensure all Sales Planning Procedures are upheld by seeking appropriate reviews and approvals
• Client Support - Develop an excellent working relationship with clients, provide sales support and attend client meetings as required.
• Internal Relationships:
• Liaise with Finance to ensure customer checks are carried out, resolving invoicing/payment issue, and responding to audit queries
• Liaise with CMDG (Materials Fulfilment team) to ensure we can plan and provide assets on time for new and existing deals, resolve servicing issues, and update on US Network scheduling changes.
• Create and maintain relationships with contacts in other key divisions including Home Entertainment, Theatrical, Home Office, Legal, Marketing, and IT

Central VOD/EST Management for CEEMA
• Update all deals with upcoming current titles every month and send schedules to clients
• Update territory trackers using digital avails from Home Entertainment
• Process monthly overages for client in internal systems.
• Liaise with Home Entertainment to validate actual release dates
• Liaise with Finance team to manage queries on billing
• Update regional digital trackers with reports from clients

Forecasting and Planning
• Maintain/update the annual and MRP (Mid Range Plan) forecasts in RPM; process changes in a timely manner and keep Sales Planning Manager and Sales Teams informed of updates regularly
• Provide variance analysis on product, deals and/or market assumptions to support Sales in preparing the forecast
• Create summaries and commentary to Sales & Finance within prescribed deadlines
• Attend and contribute to regular forecast review meetings with Territory Sales, Planning and Finance

Team Administration
• Facilitate close collaboration with and support of Regional offices by ensuring materials and communication from London are shared
• Responsible for managing team Shared Drives and folders. Ensure all key documentation associated with the Regions is correctly filed
• Provide ad hoc reporting for the Region where required – for example - Sales History Reports by territory or product, subscriber reports, royalty tracking reports, deal summary reports, Home Entertainment release reports
• Provide cover to Sales Planning colleagues for holiday or sick leave

Required Experience & Skills

Qualifications and Experience
• Educated to minimum undergraduate degree level preferable
• Ideally 1-2 years' experience in a media environment
• Strong IT skills, in particular Excel (pivot tables, formula), and must be confident learning new systems
• Fluency in English is essential
