Administrative Trainee, Global Sales Planning and Operations - Spring 2023

This Spring Trainee position is from January through May 26th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The LA based sales team supports negotiations for key global deals e.g. Netflix and Amazon etc and collaborates closely with the regional sales teams in EMEA, APAC & AMERICAS to obtain availability, rights and pricing information. The Distribution business is one of the divisions of Sony Pictures based in Culver City and is responsible for licensing features, series and formats to linear and digital platforms worldwide. We are searching for an Administrative Trainee who is comfortable handling these types of tasks and interested in this type of career path.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Administrative Assistant: General administrative duties including, but not limited to managing calendars, organizing meetings, and doing expense reports for 2 executives
• Reporting: Work with various members of the team to track and compile reports that we need to create and send and receive to/from our customers and internal divisions as they relate to our digital platform (including revenue/sales reports, forecasts, tax and regulatory guilds (PROs)
• Special Projects: Work with the team to contribute to new projects that arise including planning for new customers and/or initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Interest in doing administrative type duties
• Able to work Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week
• Detail-oriented
• Organized
• Proactive
• Basic understanding of Microsoft tools including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong Excel skills preferred
