Job Description
As a Manager, A&R Administration, you will create and manage recording budgets for artists signed to Sony Music or to Sony Music's joint ventures. This role will report to the Sr. Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs Operations.

What you'll do:
• Setup GRAS Project and associated Financial accounts as needed
• Approve expenses, issue purchase orders, and process payments for all recording costs (travel, studio, equipment, etc.) and contractual costs (advances, legal fees, etc.)
• Draft video production agreements, remixer agreements, and other 3rd party contracts required for release
• Review assets to ensure all third party clearances are secured prior to release of a product
• Oversee Video Recording Authorization process for new videos
• Liaise with Royalties department to ensure recording costs are properly reflected on statements
• Prepare and file AFM/AFTRA union contracts for performers on each project
• Ad hoc projects as requested

Who you are:
• Minimum of 4 years of label A&R Administration experience
• Familiarity with AFTRA/AFM session reports
• Highly skilled in computer software applications: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook), Lotus Notes
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented, organized, timely and accurate
• Previous legal experience a plus
