As a Workday Systems Analyst (Compensation & Benefits), you'll be an expert in the functional usage and back-end configuration of two or more modules within our HRIS (Workday), helping to make the most of the system for the other members of the HR team and Rioters at large. You'll demonstrate a commitment to data integrity and confidentiality, as well as, experience in training those around you to make you a strength for good in spearheading standard methodologies. Through your analytical sophistication, great interpersonal skills, and dedication to your customers, you will show the value robust data and systems can bring to how we work. You'll also be an integral part in helping to identify, select, and implement new HR systems, modules and/or functionality.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with HR functions to address business needs, from ideation to implementation, including translating high-level HR business requirements into functional specifications
• Configure, test and support Workday modules,, from day to day small changes to larger cyclical projects (e.g. Benefit/Time Off plans, annual compensation review cycles, open enrollment etc.) and associated project management
• Provide recommendations for implementing new functionality provided by vendors via upgrades, patches, and releases
• Review existing business processes to identify improvement opportunities based on good practices or automation for example
• Perform regular system monitoring and periodic audits, verifying the integrity and availability of the system, data feeds, and key processes, reviewing system notifications and logs
• Execute mass data changes as needed utilizing data load tools when applicable
• Develop and maintain documentation, trainings and training materials of operational, configuration and/or other procedures

Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Human Resources, or a related study, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience implementing and supporting at least two (2) HR cross functional groups such as Compensation and Benefits or Performance/Talent Management, Learning & Development, Recruiting, Payroll etc.
• Ability to interpret and/or discuss complex information with others in a clear way, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people
• Module Experience Includes: Benefits, Absence

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with process improvement by successfully identifying, proposing, documenting, & implementing streamlined processes
• Able to work on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Demonstrates ability to build relationships, resolve problems, remove barriers, & communicate effectively
• Strong customer service orientation skills
• Experience with SaaS systems and Google Suite preferred
• Experience implementing and supporting systems integrations in the HR space
• Knowledge of backend development languages like Go and Python
• Module experience with Compensation, Time Tracking, Learning

• (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $99,500.00 - $140,100.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
