Strategic Sourcing Managers at Riot help to source, and maintain important external relationships through expert relationship management, craft expertise, and curiosity. You'll be the driving force in making sure large deals are vetted and negotiated to ensure the highest possible level of quality, service, and cost, while aligning with the needs of team members, other functional support teams, and executive leadership.

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager - Creative and Corporate, reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing, you'll be empowered to lead sourcing negotiation and strategy for both the creative and corporate workplace experience areas of the organization. You'll need to navigate main areas of spend and find opportunities to improve external partners across product and centralized support teams in a non-mandated sourcing environment. You'll be a central conduit for finalizing deals across product teams, legal, security, and purchasing and providing best practices and advisory for vendor strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Scope requirements and identify applicable teams for creative products/services.
• Conduct bid processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and vet applicable suppliers.
• Craft frameworks for evaluation of applicable vendors/partners.
• Communicate cross BU, pillar, and enterprise-wide to develop holistic strategies and find commonality among product teams.
• Be an escalation point for important commercial relationships
• Help craft agreements across all creative areas, and providing insight to best practices for structuring creative deals.
• Draft business cases, including make vs buy-analysis, for reaching the best possible strategic outcome across creative partnerships.
• Maintain vendor databases of important partners and strategic relationships
• Conduct market research on existing and latest trends across the industry.
• Mentor and lead other Rioters

Required Qualifications:
• 6+ years experience in category sourcing, focused on creative and corporate workplace areas
• The ability to bring different teams together to move in the same direction
• Quantitative analysis (financial and price modeling)
• Vendor and supplier relationship management experience in large non-mandated organizations
• Experience overseeing across a wide pool of experience levels
• Knowledge of industry trends across creative areas

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working game development, creative production, or other creative industries
• Experience leading teams of sourcing associates to achieve projects across the creative landscape
• CPSM or similar certifications
