Job Description
Marketing Video Producer - Global Marketing, Valorant (Contractor)

As a Video Producer at Riot Games, you will build and empower motivated teams to take a video project from the brief to the final player-facing product. Bringing a project in on time and on budget is just table stakes-your goals are craft excellence and player resonance.

As a Video Producer on the VALORANT Marketing Team, you will report to the Video Production Lead. In this role, you will oversee multiple video projects, each with a team of experienced craftspeople and engaged leaders. Projects will range from small social media posts to large-scale 3D CGI animated cinematics. Starting from the brief, you will organize each production, finding the right partners inside and outside the studio to achieve the best possible final video. You will study the audience, competitors, and the entertainment world at large to find fresh ideas to level up our quality and methods. You will also join a studio-wide community of video professionals to mentor colleagues and learn from others.

Responsibilities:
• With your team, develop creative ideas for multiple video projects based on briefs provided by the Marketing team, scoping for production realities and limitations.
• For each project, create production plans and oversee their execution according to the brief, budget, and schedule.
• Source and manage vendors and craftspeople to achieve the project vision, opening and maintaining lasting relationships.
• Using your video knowledge and player empathy, guide teams toward sound creative decisions that balance audience impact, high artistry, and production health.

Required Qualifications:
• 4+ years as a video producer (or equivalent experience) in games, film, television, commercials, or VFX.
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.
• Expert proficiency in video production management, including production planning, scheduling, cost reporting, purchasing, personnel, and media management.
• Experience sourcing, bidding, onboarding, and managing vendors and freelancers.
• Basic proficiency in Photoshop and Premiere.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working at a games studio.
• Experience playing VALORANT or other tactical FPS titles.
• Familiarity with the FPS marketing and community content ecosystem.

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. We will be looking at your past studies, experience, and your personal relationship with games. If you embody player empathy and care about the experiences of players, this could be the role for you!
