Esports Production Manager (APAC VALORANT)

As an Esports Production Manager for APAC VALORANT, you will work together wi th the VALORANT Esports team to launch and produce the new VALORANT Pacific League in 2023. You'll be responsible for strategy, planning, execution, tracking, and project management for event and broadcast production of the league.
As a Rioter in Seoul, you'll join a tight-knit group of exceptionally bright-minded individuals who share our prioritization of player experience, rejection of convention, and passion for gaming. Riot Games Korea is dedicated to creating tailored player experiences that show local players they aren't lost in translation.
Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic planning and project management for the event and broadcast production for the VALORANT Pacific League
• Oversee the vendor sourcing and hiring processes, including RFP, contract, payment, and reconciliation
• Create and manage the production budget to ensure we are spending wisely to deliver high quality content and experience for our fans
• Ensure the production vendors are delivering the creative vision for the product on broadcast and event
• Collaborate with Esports Product, Marketing, and Commercial Partnerships teams to ensure all product requirements are met at the production level
• Coordinate with the Global Event, Broadcast, and Production teams to ensure the adherence of the global production guidelines both internally and externally
• Communicate project deliverables, priorities, and any changes to and between the internal and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of work experience in product, production, or project management with oversight responsibilities for multiple, large-scale projects
• Experience creating and managing budgets
• Experience managing vendors
• Proficiency in both Korean and English
Desired Qualifications:
• 7+ years of cumulative work experience
• Experience working on event, broadcast or content production in sports or esports
• Experience working with or at an esports production vendor
