Senior Animator

Job Description

PIXOMONDO is an international visual effects company with a global network of facilities in Canada, Germany, the UK, and the US. We are recruiting for various positions in our Vancouver office, where we would like to welcome anyone with the right experience to work in a fresh and challenging environment.

Minimum Requirements:
• 5 years of working experience in VFX and Animation for Films and TV
• Expert knowledge of traditional animation principles for Hard Surface and Character Animation.
• Expert knowledge in Maya.
• Ability to take on a delegated task with a minimum of supervision.
• Good organization and communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in a strong team environment.
• Ability to identify problems that may affect schedules and communicate concerns to Leads and Supervisors
• Some Working knowledge of MoCap and / or Rigging is essential
• Work should demonstrate ability to define character, create fluid motion, organic movement, and storytelling
• Strong sense of composition and excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine a plus.
