Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of Talent Outreach and University Relations events and engagements related to attracting and hiring employees and interns
• Support Program Manager and Program Specialists with day-to-day administrative tasks which may include but are not limited to:
• Correspondence (email queries, social media, etc)
• SWAG inventory and shipping
• Notetaking and follow-up recaps/tasks list
• Internal wiki updates
• Update contact & resource lists and tracking documents
• Calendaring meetings, pre-games, post-mortems, events preparation
• Vendor research and relationships
• Grow your knowledge of Pixar, animated films, university relations, recruiting, event management, and DEI initiatives
• Build functional relationships with stakeholders around the studio in support of programming and event goals
• Support with Pixar Recruiting's social media strategy and management
• Staff events and engagements as needed
• Prepare timely follow-up communication, status reports and results reporting as needed
• Book travel, create itineraries, reconcile expense reports
• Act as representative of TO/UR with individuals internally and externally
• Possess strong attention to detail and ability to follow-up on tasks, seeing them through to completion

QUALIFICATIONS:
• The focus of your education/experience includes program and event planning, recruiting, public relations or a closely related field
• Interest in recruiting, human resources and DE&I preferable
• Interest in the cyclical and on-going nature of a program-oriented department
• Mac literate and have proficient administrative skills using G Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Zoom. Extra points if you know Photoshop, Asana and/or a content editing tool like After Effects
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and are someone who enjoys engaging with people offering thoughtful and accurate insight
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail and follow through
• Appreciate when a new idea comes up and exploring the possibilities
• Ability and interest in resolving problems on the fly, creatively and resourcefully
• An engaged team player, willing to collaborate and jump in to help
• Initiative to learn new skills, studio procedures, and pipeline through self and studio education
• Positive 'can do' attitude while maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Ability to maintain focus on priorities among multiple assigned tasks in a dynamic work environment
• Able to work on-site at our studio in Emeryville, CA
