Job Description
Overview and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of music clearance for Theatrical & Home Video marketing as assigned by the Vice President, Worldwide Music Clearance.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Request all necessary cue sheets from A/V vendors for assets submitted for Domestic, Paramount+, International & Home Video A/V marketing materials via Media Vu, Media Qurator, or P.R.I.M.E.
• Verify that submitted cue sheets meet the Paramount Theatrical Music Clearance cue sheet submission policy by verifying all information is accurate and request corrections when required
• Ensure clearance comments are correct, and indicate which cues may be problematic, require clearance or additional rights.
• Provide electronic copies of film scores and cleared music to necessary partners
• Upon campaign completion request final Aired ISCI Report from Domestic/International & Home Video Media for all TV/Radio assets and determine which cue sheets have not been submitted
• Request updated international trailer charts from international finishing department
• Verify all domestic finished trailer correspond to finished trailer chart in Marketing Services Share drive
• Request music bed files from A/V creative vendor or in-house (5555) agency for all Final A/V assets
• Prepare Domestic, International & Home Video A/V marketing materials Final TV aired music memos
• Verify all finished assets aired, remove any spots that shipped but did not air
• Generate final memos for all finished theatrical trailers (include memo, cost chart, and cue sheet)
• Distribute memos to music clearance vendor
• Create Music Clearance files for all films and file all necessary music clearance paperwork

Worldwide Creative Content and Interactive
• Review and approve all music requests in P.R.I.M.E. and Creative Content that have not been previously reviewed/approved by the Vice President of Music Clearance
• Flag Domestic and International Creative Content and Interactive teams of any expensive or problem cues via e-mail
• Assist Sr. Music Coordinator assigned to specific films by entering music cue sheets for Creative Content/Interactive teams for such films
• Ensure clearance vendor receives necessary tracking information for all pending music clearance requests
• Verify music quotes and rights have been accurately updated to internal music charts
• Compile and send music costs, quotes and updates to creative executives, and BCC clearance vendor
• Review and consult with clearance vendor and/or music department regarding music usage issues
• Notify Music VP of any expensive or problem cues
• Provide back-up to Vice President as needed

General Office Duties
• Create correspondence
• Set up gate passes
• Box music clearance files, music license agreements, and send to Records Center when film campaign is completed

Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred
• 3+ years of music clearance or related work preferred

Additional Qualifications:
• Scrupulous about detailed work
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work well under time constraints
• Be able to multi-task and balance priorities and deadlines in a demanding and fast environment
• Self-motivated
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proficient with MS Office package
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM software Program, a plus!
• Commitment to improvement

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $55,000.00 - 64,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Salary Details
Salary Range: $55,000 to $64,000 Per Year ($ USD)
