Associate News Producer (Part-Time)

KRON4 News in San Francisco is searching for an associate news producer. The associate producer works closely with news producers to write, edit, and create graphics for the newscasts.

This will be a part-time, non-union, non-exempt position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Write news stories.
• Edit video for stories and teases using Adobe Premiere
• Create/order newscast graphics.
• Communicate with reporters, assignment desk, anchors and managers.
• Management reserves the discretion to add or modify job duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Prior news writing experience on broadcast of digital platforms
• Experience with newsroom systems and desktop editing software
• College degree or equivalent in journalism/communications or broadcasting preferred.

Compensation: $24.05+/HR to commensurate with experience and skill level
