The Associate VFX Producer is responsible for the planning, scheduling, production and delivery of specific shows with a focus on the highest standard of quality, delivery on time and on budget, under the direction of the Producers and in collaboration with ILM teams in other studios. Associate VFX Producer works across all shows and reports to the appropriate VFX Show Producer on a daily basis for show specific tasks.

What You'll Do
Creates overall shot schedules across all disciplines, for both shows, using ILM's best practices for scheduling; oversees implementation of schedule by guiding and directing coordinators, supervisors and leads as needed
Manage the production crew on a daily basis including directing coordinators and production assistants to ensure all show needs are met and that the studio as a whole is run efficiently and effectively
With input from Supervisors and show Producer, proactively identify and plan for work to be sent and ensure maximum utilization of artists at all times. Evaluate and learn individual artist strengths; help develop cross utilization of resources to promote an effective workflow.
Provide support for technical and creative issues that arise, to ensure work stays on schedule and optimal workflow is adhered to; proactively problem-solve and raise issues appropriately to ensure creative solutions are found in a timely manner
Using ''Bids vs. Actuals'' and financial reporting tools, track each show's performance on a weekly basis; proactively raise concerns, strive to find creative solutions and show improvement in a timely manner where possible
At times meet with clients to review scripts, breakdowns and storyboards for a specific project
Maintain overview of utilization using established departmental production management and tracking systems; participate in regular status meetings with Show leadership to determine upcoming crewing needs
Maintain close contact and collaborate with ILM department managers and department Supervisors regarding recruiting needs and crewing concerns
Promote a strong team feeling across all team members and strive for regular and consistent communication with teams to ensure feelings of goodwill and camaraderie
Anticipate potential production and/or facility problems and be a key contributor in reaching solutions

What We're Looking For
8+ years work experience in production to include strong working knowledge of post production techniques and terminology.
Proven track record of successfully working in Visual Effects Producer capacity on several major productions at a facility (6+ years)
Proven track record in bidding and client management
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
Excellent computer skills including: Word, Excel, Google suite
Experience with databases and a wide range of production management tools (such as Shotgun, Filemaker Pro, MS Project)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Must have proven excellence in effective scheduling

The hiring range for this position in San Francisco is $113,300 to $148,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
