Netflix is recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner who will partner closely with several leaders and teams within our Product Discovery & Promotion organization (PDP). PDP is a global organization with 575+ employees located across the world in 18 global offices making up a multidisciplinary team that blends art with science.

The focus of this role is to efficiently partner with the business, implement talent priorities at scale and globally across the function, coach leaders at all levels and influence to enable our teams to accomplish amazing things. This role can be based in Los Angeles, CA, Los Gatos, CA, or New York City, NY.

What you will do:

This team requires an HR partner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for scaling leaders. You will contribute to and support the delivery of a cohesive talent strategy and vision for this team, continuing to iterate and evolve our talent practices over time. The Netflix Senior HRBP role is unique in the sense that you'll be responsible for driving decisions on organization design, compensation, employee development, talent density, inclusion, and much more.

In this role, leading, demonstrating, redefining, and modeling the Netflix culture is top priority. They will be stewards of our culture, valuing diversity of opinions and people, and will coach leaders to become more competent, compassionate, conscious, and courageous in these efforts. In addition to coaching and development of leaders and their incoming teams, this individual will need to have the ability to influence across the business as well as with cross-functional talent partners. A heightened awareness of the needs of the business will ultimately lead to better partnership and execution of large-scale initiatives.

What we are looking for:
• 10+ years of progressive, strategic, and well-rounded HR experience working in dynamic environments, proven ability and interest to be hands-on.
• A dynamic and thoughtful HR leader with a collaborative and influential leadership style, the ability to inspire others into action and to think creatively about solutions. Your leaders trust your judgment and seek your perspective.
• Experienced in developing highly effective leaders who build strong teams, leading with empathy, and unlocking the capabilities of a global, diverse workforce. You are a strong ally and understand how to lead change toward a culture of inclusion.
• Passionate about and experienced with leading through change and navigating ambiguity, while maintaining operational excellence. Comfortable working autonomously and able to demonstrate proactivity in identifying and addressing potential challenges before they become problems.
• Adept at exploring and analyzing data to identify insights and opportunities for business impact, using data to drive business decisions and tell a compelling story that influences stakeholders.
• A self-starter, demonstrating curiosity about the business and organization overall with a desire to uplevel the partnership with the teams they support.
• Exceptional at leading implementation of strategic talent initiatives across a variety of disciplines: culture building, organizational development, talent management, and inclusion and diversity. You are interested and experienced in thinking strategically while having a proven ability and interest for hands-on work and execution.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $260,000 - $460,000.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
