Coordinator, Finance & Operations (INC)

INC Studio is a full-service creative studio within Netflix that produces stories about the business, brand, content, and culture of Netflix while integrating resources across makers to empower storytelling. The Finance & Operations Coordinator supports and executes the financial workflow process across our team. They are highly proficient in Excel, Google Suite, Charting, and reporting applications like Tableau, Airtable, Monday.com & CODA with a passion for creating formulas to improve reporting functions. They are well-versed in payroll standards the entertainment industry and the financial and operational needs of physical production and on-site labor teams (ie: post-production). This person should be able to connect the dots between multiple payment streams to create unified and consolidated reporting.

Responsibilities
• Aligns and executes financial tracking and project reconciliation best practices with guidance from Finance, SP&A, and MS&O partners.
• Reconciles all deposit accounts with FPO on a monthly basis.
• Oversees & maintains all payroll processing, payment tracking, and reporting within INC Studio.
• Coordinates with retained payroll partner(s) making sure systems are working properly and flagging roadblocks to the Manager of Operations as they arise.
• Helps to support the Operations team to accurately input project finance, budgeting, cost tracking, and billing procedures within INC Studio.
• Meticulously tracks spending in real-time, or as data becomes available, across INC Studio to provide detailed reports while being proactive to point out discrepancies and alert manager and/or project leads
• Supports managers with distilling project metrics and financial data into accessible modes of information delivery.
• Graphs, charts, summarized data, upcoming projections, trends, etc
• Supports data pulls for QBRs, Annual audits, and annual budgeting and headcount planning
• Supports Producers and Post Supervisor across financial needs for projects.
• Supports Producers in new SOW and MSA contract creation and/or reviews before signature; logs and records for INC team records.
• Onboarding support and training for contingent talent, FTEs, and Suppliers as it relates to POs, invoice processing, Vendor Onboarding, Wrapbook timesheets, etc
• PO and non-PO invoice processing and coding for accurate financial reporting and timely processing of invoices
• Distributes P-Cards/PEX cards, and ensures proper reconciliation at project wrap.
• Supports final project wrap review for financial and data integrity.
• Reviews total estimate and budget against project data in Workday (pulled by FPO partner in lieu of a P&L review).
• Supports producers in making necessary adjustments or troubleshooting discrepancies.
• Provides additional administrative support to the Operations team as needed.
• Helping to ensure documentation is up to date
• Supporting onboarding contingent talent into systems and workflows.
• System maintenance and auditing.
• Updating all trackers and dashboards with notes, documents, etc

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience within the accounting finance space with a specialization in production finance, payroll & analytics.
• Deep understanding of the production & post-production process and how that relates to spend, cash flow tracking, and wrap.
• Strong corporate acumen, with demonstrable experience in understanding relationships between key financial and non-financial business drivers.
• Excellent competency with Excel, Google Suite, Charting, and reporting applications like Tableau, Airtable, Monday.com & CODA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.
• Strong analytical capabilities, highest standards of accuracy, and precision.
• Very organized, with a high attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions.
• Ability to take direction & execute established workflows with pristine accuracy & conscious collaboration.
• Ability to distill complex data sets into digestible information.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $150,000 - $250,000.
