Universal Pictures International (UPI) owns and operates direct theatrical marketing and distribution of feature films in many locations around the globe including Austria, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and UK & Eire. In other territories UPI market and distribute movies through its JV offices, as well as in select territories, licensees who are contracted to distribute on UPl's behalf as well as production operations, a leading television stations group, and world-renowned theme parks.

The Sales Executive will maximise exhibition dates with all major and independent exhibitors on each of Universal Pictures International theatrical releases.

Job Description
• Build and maintain amiable relationships with all exhibitors and suppliers.
• Keep National Sales & Operations Manager up to date with all Market activity, changes & results.
• After Hours KDM & Technical support for Exhibitors.
• Liaise with warehouses and exhibitors to ensure prompt dispatch (and return) of prints, trailers and advertising materials to cinemas.
• Communicate appropriate sales and marketing information to cinemas and discuss upcoming product and release dates in a timely and confident manor.
• Maintain accurate records of agreed session for all bookings.
• Handle day & date bookings as advised by National Sales & Operations Manager.
• Discuss terms with exhibitors as advised by the National Sales & Operations Manager.
• Raise KDM's for all bookings as necessary in line with Universal KDM procedures.
• Ensure optimal session times and longevity of season for each release.
• Monitor exhibitor web-sites to ensure sessions played are as agreed and inform National Sales & Operations Manager of market activity.
• Assist National Sales & Operations Manager with p'view DCP movement & KDMs.
• Collate box office figures from individual cinemas as required.
• Follow up on overdue box office dockets as required
• Represent Universal Pictures at screenings and presentations including travel where directed by National Sales & Operations Manager.
• Attend and contribute to sales meetings as required.
• Liase with Publicity to ensure availability of DCP's & KDM's for Media previews wherever possible in line with Universal preview policies.
• Assist National Sales & Operations Manager in ordering & distribution of product from Studio via Deluxe & other 3rd party contractors.
• Assist in backing up NZ Sales and dealing with NZ exhibs.
• Assist National Sales & Operations Manager in Managing Universal Theatrette screenings, Content Ingestion etc.

Qualifications
• Extensive experience in film / cinema industry.
• Extensive knowledge of the Australian Market & Operators.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
• You must have the right to work in Australia i.e have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Extensive experience in film / cinema industry.
• Extensive knowledge of Australian Cinema Owners & Operators.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
• Experience with NZ exhibs would be beneficial.
