Job Description
As a Safety Account Development Representative (ADR), you will be responsible for ensuring NCSI customer retention, increased product adoption and package upsell. This includes hunting for leads, partnering with SportsEngine Account Managers on customer accounts and building an increasing demand for the use of NCSI's background screening solutions. This position is ideal for individuals who are self-starters and results driven.
Job Duties:
• Engage and consult with sports administrators to help them identify meaningful ways to improve their organizations with NCSI's background screening solutions
• Develop a deep understanding of the screening industry, sports administrators, our sales strategy, and leverage provided tech stack to execute high touch, high-quality activity cadence resulting in 50+ customer interactions daily
• Position yourself as an expert in the background screening industry and NCSI's solutions. Assist new customers with adoption of NCSI solutions and work with current customers to upgrade existing NCSI programs.
• Understand the prospective customer or current customer, identifying opportunities and planning a creative and targeted approach for growth with accounts at every interaction
• Create interest with customers directly via telephone, email, and video calls learning about their challenges, position our products as solutions, and create new safety selling opportunities
• Own your results. Unwavering personal daily effort standards so that coaching centers around goals, sales skills & career growth
• Continue to gain advanced product and market knowledge to differentiate yourself and NCSI as both a technical and business fit
• Build trusting relationships with SportsEngine Account Managers to execute the territory and sport vertical plans
• Collaborate with other departments and functions to support assigned territory and facilitate the overall success of the team
• Maintain accurate daily record of sales activity using Salesforce.com and sales engagement / automation platforms such as Intercom or Outreach
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
• Strong written and telephone skills required
• Well organized, with strong attention to detail
• 1+ years' experience in sales, account management, and/or customer service
• Strong work ethic to effectively manage your time to drive growth within your territory
• Demonstrated multi-tasking abilities with consistent and timely follow-through all while achieving goals
• Strive for honesty, transparency, and accurate communication - always over deliver
• Ability to exercise independent judgment while taking great pride in your work
• Empathetic, solutions-oriented and a true passion to serve customers
• A self-starter who embraces change; a problem solver and team player
• Help develop and deliver outreach strategies to create upselling opportunities

Desired Characteristics
• Sales experience within software (SaaS) or web-based applications is preferred
• Experiencing in selling background screening solutions is preferred
• Experience using salesforce.com or a similar CRM system is preferred
• Strong knowledge of the sports landscape and sport specific to this role

• Must be willing to work in Minneapolis, MN
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Current budget: $45,000 base and 56% Sales Incentive Comp target
