Role Summary
The HR Coordinator will implement employee guidance and support activities for the HR business partners and operators. Key responsibilities include processing HR transactions, recruiting freelance roles, maintaining and reporting critical HR data, answering day to day employee questions, onboarding and exiting employees, and managing administrative support for the HR team. The Coordinator will also participate in special projects and leave requests. This position is responsible for interfacing and problem solving with several partners including Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Finance, Benefits, Payroll, Employment and Labor Law, Contracts team, and HR Operations.

Responsibilities

Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Support HR business partners by answering and or refer employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, employee perks, paid time off, EHS, leaves, and company policies
• Oversee employee personnel change requirement requests
• Schedule meetings, conduct freelance, entry level interviews and exit interviews
• Maintain and update personnel files, data, list, shared drives, org charts and provide general office support
• Plan and implement logistics (in person and virtual) for meetings, employee events, learning and development experiences, roundtables, including room reservations and technology set-up
• Provide on-site and or virtual support during employee events
• Handle SAP and BrassRing HR transactions including onboarding, posting jobs, terminations, workflow forms, and data validation
• Run and create regular and ad hoc reports from HR systems in support of all News teams
• Assist in diversity and inclusion activities, restructuring activities, training, recruitment efforts, resume screening

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Mid to advanced expertise with Microsoft Excel (ability to process data, create pivot tables, charts and formulas) and PowerPoint
• Prior 1+ years HR experience (specifically in processing transactions)
• Experience with SAP and BrassRing and or other HR systems
