Job Description
MediaLink is seeking a Senior Associate to join the team in New York that is leading Marketing Transformation for some of the world's largest brands and their emerging counterparts.

The Data and Technology Solutions (DTS) organization within MediaLink is a specialized practice area comprised of experts that work across the broader organization. As a member of the team at MediaLink, you will set the strategic approach to delivering on our clients' need to learn, grow and transform by harnessing the power of data. As part of the DTS team, you will collaborate in cross-functional teams to help clients define and embrace industry trends that are shaping the current ecosystem. As part of this team, you will fully immerse yourself in market research efforts by gathering and synthesizing information, drawing insights from analysis and developing compelling, executive-facing recommendations. You'll also play a key role in helping to persuasively communicate these ideas to senior-level executives and present results in collaboration with team members.
One day you will be benchmarking the data-driven capabilities of an in-house programmatic team within a retail organization, the next you will be designing the M&A strategy for a market leading DSP. Across all projects, you will connect themes and insights for the benefit of all clients. This ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable managing multiple projects at once. What You Will Do

Project Management & Problem-solving
• Strong project and people management skills -- demonstrated ability to structure, manage and deliver complex workstreams at high quality under time constraints
• Contribute effectively in teams, both inside MediaLink and with senior clients
• High-degree of business acumen: strong analytical skills and comfort with hypothesis-driven problem solving to drive work plans and prioritize engagement activities
• Manage and structure the contributions of more junior team members - be an effective coach and contribute to the development of their core consulting skills
• Complete work as needed by the engagement lead on larger engagements; help direct junior team members and manage timelines across simultaneous projects or work streams accordingly

Infrastructure and Operations: People, Process and Technology
• Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who is relied upon by teams across the company to for their deep domain expertise in the data-driven marketing ecosystem, including:
• Buy-side tools, technology and processes (media planning, modelling, DSPs, ad trafficking, etc.)
• Sell-side tools, technology and processes (SSPs, ad exchanges, yield management)
• Connective plumbing (data onboarding, identity resolution, measurement, attribution, etc.)
• The 'advanced television' marketplace (OTT/CTV, DDL, Linear, etc.) and the technology and processes that govern this supply chain.
• Advises clients across the marketing industry in a variety of ever-changing areas including:
• Drive product strategy and roadmaps for media companies to grow their advertising businesses with data and analytics products
• Optimize ad product roadmaps and design go to market approaches grounded in advertiser needs informed by market/competitive analyses
• Advance the people-based marketing capabilities of major global brands through precision marketing strategy, global measurement frameworks, data strategy development, and architecting mar/ad tech stacks
• Participate in commercial diligence efforts within corporate/investor strategy assignments by leveraging expertise to influence some of the ad industry's most impactful M&A activity
• Facilitate data and technology assessments for brands during agency selection or review process, by providing support in evaluating agency data/analytics capabilities, tools/tech stack and aligning them against brand needs

Client Service
• Support and in manage client relationships, serving as a key day-to-day contact
• Develop practical recommendations for strategy and clearly defined execution plans to bring said strategy to life
• Support business growth opportunities with existing clients by understanding the broad MediaLink service offerings, listening for triggers and raising cross-sell and upsell opportunities strategically aligned with client needs
• Lead the process of client discovery, market research and diligence requirements including guiding interviews that source clarity from clients and net new insights from the industry
• Manage milestone based tasks and subtasks; communication of relevant information to stakeholders
• Supports business consulting deliverables and conducts research on variety of related topics for best practices, including:
• Digital Transformation & Strategy
• Product / Market Fit Analysis
• Defining how an organization can become analytically driven
• Due diligence research for content, technology and marketing investments
• Guides diligence process for industry benchmarking and trend analyses
• Supports strategy development through synthesizing research into digestible findings and working with client leads to develop and effectively communicate strategic recommendations
• Business & Client Development
• Work with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposal development
• Leverage industry network, trades and MediaLink intelligence to uncover trends and opportunities for active client assignments and future business development
• Play an active role in commercially-oriented thought leadership efforts

What You Will Need
• Fluency in media/advertising/technology industry terms and trends with specific domain expertise in data-driven marketing
• Management experience in strategy, product, technology, or client-service role across media, marketing, advertising, technology and/or consulting fields
• MBA desirable, but not required
• Proven experience in applying well-developed problem-solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical), crafting original strategic recommendations, and managing complex projects and simultaneous deliverables
• Proven track record of delivering through recommendations to internal teams and/or clients; demonstrated success in turning recommendations into positive results
• Ability to partner across the organization to deliver engagement objectives
• Proficient in being a data driven thinker with an ability to tailor narrative based on audience
