Job Description
MediaLink seeks an Analyst to join our Knowledge team in New York or Los Angeles. In this exciting new role as a Knowledge Analyst, you will support the implementation and growth of knowledge sharing within MediaLink's Advisory practice, help maintain quality of content within the Knowledge tool, support client teams on inquiries and tool navigation, and assist in onboarding key research across the sectors of media, entertainment, marketing, and technology. As a Knowledge Analyst, you will apply analytical thinking and experience-based judgment to complex challenges by focusing on the critical issues that impact the Knowledge tool's performance. You will be working with the Knowledge team across multiple projects and priorities, playing a pivotal role in the implementation and management of the Knowledge tool, ensuring accuracy across new content with appropriate tagging and confidentiality measures, and supporting client teams in navigating the Knowledge tool. You should have an interest in the media, entertainment, marketing and technology space, information analysis, trend spotting/reporting, and knowledge management/research.

The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $70,000 commensurate with experience and skills.

What You Will Do
• Data Entry:
• Responsible for accurate and timely data entry into the Knowledge tool
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across the Knowledge tool
• System Testing Participation:
• Actively participate in testing the Knowledge tool to identify and report any issues
• Collaborate with the team to implement improvements and ensure optimal system performance
• Provide input on best practices and contribute to the evolution of the Knowledge tool
• Content Onboarding, Integration and Aggregation:
• Onboard new content into the Knowledge tool, ensuring proper tagging and maintaining confidentiality where required
• Collaborate with relevant teams to understand content specifics and requirements
• Identify similar reports/content and support Manager to integrate them appropriately into aggregate presentations and tagging strategies
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of tagging strategies for effective content categorization
• Coordinate and Partner with Internal Teams:
• Participate in intake calls and provide support and guidance to colleagues using the Knowledge tool
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving user queries related to the Knowledge tool
• Work collaboratively with the team to identify areas for continuous improvement in data entry processes and system functionality

What You Will Need
• 1+ year of related work experience in consulting, media, marketing, advertising and/or technology
• Proven analytical skills, expertise in qualitative and quantitative research
• Self-starter mentality, eager to make a meaningful impact within the company
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Knowledge and understanding of media/advertising/technology industry terms and trends is a benefit
• Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Organized with a strong attention to detail
