THE JOB
We are seeking a Director of Shared Services for the Live Nation Concerts division, a segment of the Live Nation live music business. This position oversees accounting, accounts payable, purchasing, timekeeping system support, and strategic projects teams; interacts with multiple divisions, and includes the development and implementation of process efficiencies and accounting policies and procedures. This person must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for harmonized nation-wide order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes, including use of technology, digital transformation, and talent strategy
• Direct a centralized shared services team, including accounting, accounts payable, purchasing, timekeeping system support, and strategic projects, which will fully support the Company's objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across multiple businesses and locations. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with all internal stakeholders, including business leaders and functional leaders.
• Lead automation and system integration efforts to streamline finance and operations processes. Develop and implement standardized processes, controls, and service-level agreements to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Foster a culture that encourages the highest level of performance, integrity and ethical behavior and cooperation in all business activities.
• Ensure enterprise compliance and risk mitigation through strong internal controls and audit readiness.
• Undertake special projects and/or general management assignments as requested by senior management.
• 25% domestic travel.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Visionary leadership in finance operations and shared services strategy.
• Expertise in global service delivery, digital transformation, and enterprise governance.
• Exceptional executive presence and strategic influence.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale change and drive measurable impact.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of corporate finance dynamics within a decentralized and entrepreneurial business.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities that allow projects and goals to be completed on time.
• Be able to delegate responsibility and authority to the lowest appropriate level yet be willing to participate directly and actively as required.
• Project management experience a plus.
• ERP experience, preferably Oracle Cloud, but equivalent is sufficient.
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent. CPA preferred. MBA or MA a plus.
• 8+ years managing a dynamic team.
• 12+ years of comparable experience in finance, accounting, or related field.
