Summary of Position

eOne Canada's Distribution & Strategy department is seeking a Manager, Distribution & Strategy to join the Canadian Sales team. This cross-functional role will be fully ingrained in the dynamics of sales, planning and operations with a focus on Ad-Supported Video on Demand (AVOD), Prime Video Direct (PVD) and Transactional VOD and EST. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in a Studio setting, or has worked in a media environment with existing knowledge of the current and emerging TV landscape.

Responsibilities
• Manage coordination and planning for inventory initiatives across AVOD, PVD and TVOD/EST business lines; determine groups of content best suited for these business lines with the goal of increasing sales performance in the Canadian marketplace.

• Liaise both internally with US/CA teams and externally with clients for selection and activation of all titles on platforms.

• Coordinate closely with post and delivery teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to clients; flag impending avails or problematic timing to the teams and propose solutions.

• Lead regular updates and maintenance of information regarding various assets needed for sales (language subs/dubs, format availability, etc.)

• Tracks and analyzes performance, working closely with Sales and Finance to closely monitor forecasts and budgets.

• Provides strategic solutions to new product or business development opportunities and initiatives.

• Assists with new release and library valuations for international licensing discussions.

• Analyzes and presents industry and economic trends to inform key Lionsgate stakeholders.

• Performs ad-hoc analysis for Sales and upper management.

• Work with research/IT teams to inform avails process and streamline efficiencies.

• Participates in weekly sales meetings, monthly/quarterly business review meetings.

Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or combination of education and experience

• 3+ years of experience in a Studio or media environment.

• Must have in-depth knowledge of TV, Digital, SVOD and AVOD businesses

• Must have a working knowledge of the monetization of film & television product

• Must be highly numerate, data-driven and analytically-minded to communicate meaningful feedback

• Must be highly motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills

• Excellent communication skills required

• ''Out of the box'' thinking and problem solving
