Job Title: Account Executive-Membership Services & Sales
Job Summary: This position serves as the initial day-to-day contact for the Kansas City Royals Season Ticket Members. The main function of this position is the retention of Season Ticket Members in their assigned book of business. The Account Executive is responsible for servicing all day-to-day inquiries and aspects of their Members' ticket package and benefits. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales acumen with a proven track record of sales and retention growth, a passion for customer service and an ability to build positive relationships with their clients.
Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain relationships with existing Season Ticket Members to retain and grow their spend year over year.
• Generate revenues from existing Season Ticket Members and new buyers for season tickets, groups, and small ticket packages.
• Attain individual and department sales goals as set by the Management.
• Accurately and successfully convey all key messages to the Club's season ticket base, single-game ticket purchasers, and general public.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records in the CRM system, including contact information, preferences, and interactions.
• Execute customer communication including but not limited to calls, emails, and letters related to season ticket, ticket-related issues, and general concerns. Assist all sales-related programs including but not limited to account renewals, special events, annual relocations, and account payments.
• Responsible for Season Ticket interaction at seat visits at home games.
• Assist in coordinating member events and game-day experiences, such as behind-the-scenes tours and other pre-game activities.
• Responsible for working with Sales staff regarding relocation, account changes, Auto-Renewal, and all service-related inquiries for existing and new customers.
• Consistently reach desired outbound call volume as part of a larger service and retention strategy.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
• General education background equivalent to a university education degree
• Minimum of two (2) years' work experience in sales and customer service with proven ability to meet deadlines and quotas.
• Proficient skills in computer including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, TDC, and CRM. Ability to learn and master new software programs.
• Excellent oral communication and customer service problem solving skills.
• Basic mathematical and writing skills.
• Able to travel around the ballpark visiting clients during home games and able to escort and show potential customers various seating options around the ballpark.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Consistent, punctual, and regular attendance.
• Professional image and demeanor.
• Strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 pounds
• Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workday
• Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephone
• Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
• Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
• Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling

This role is a Full-Time, Exempt opportunity that is eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. This role is expected to have a standard 40-hour work week.
