Who You Are

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Rights Acquisitions team.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
• Supporting the day-to-day implementation of the rights business development strategy.
• Support the rights acquisition process from start to finish, building proposals, developing business models and drafting responses to RFPs as appropriate
• Oversee contract drafting and negotiation through to execution in coordination with the legal and finance teams
• Oversee the tracking and reporting of new business initiatives to ensure annual targets are met.
• Work closely with Business Development, Commercial and Strategy teams to support the growth of the advisory and consultancy business.
• Support the renewal of key client representation agreements as required from time to time.
• Support the development and execution of strategic, multi-service initiatives to accelerate the growth of IMG and Endeavor business across all verticals.
• Use strong commercial acumen to understand the shifting media landscape, and identify how IMG can leverage its capabilities to drive growth on behalf of rights holders
• Analyse new business opportunities using a data-driven approach and develop a clear narrative to support the analysis
• Monitor and anticipate trends, approaches and technologies in the media, sports and entertainment industry
• Bring innovative thinking to solve clients' challenges, and develop new insights and approaches

You Will Have The Following Strengths
• A broad understanding of commercial trends within the sports, entertainment, and media industry
• A rudimentary understanding of TV production/technical distribution, digital strategy, sponsorship, streaming technology, and rights valuation
• Experience working within commercial, strategy or acquisition teams for sports rights holders, broadcasters/ streamers or consultancies
• Experience with identifying and analysing data from disparate sources
• Familiarity with contracts/representation agreements
• Experienced in managing budgets, building relationships and growing revenue
• A network of contacts within the sports media business desirable (clubs, leagues, federations, confederations)

• Educated to degree level or equivalent/ relevant experience
• Ability to speak additional languages will be viewed favorably

Working Conditions
• This is a permanent position.
• This role will be based at Chiswick Park, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate
• Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
• May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings
• Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule
• Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
