Who You Are

The IMG events marketing team is seeking a motivated and skilled Mid-Level Designer. The candidate will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to design and conceptualise compelling creative solutions for our global sponsors and partners that support revenue growth across IMG's events portfolio.

The qualified candidate should have a sophisticated design sense, innovative ideas, strong presentation skills, great attention to detail and possess a problem-solving mindset. This individual should excel at working both independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. They also must be able to handle several projects at once and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
• Develop creative for Global Partnerships – projects include client or sponsor-specific sales materials, RFP responses, capabilities documents, mock-ups, internal comms, event collateral and social/digital assets.
• Ideate and develop concepts in collaboration with the Design, Account and Commercial Teams that are strategically sound, on-brand and meet the brief.
• Produce engaging sales collateral consisting of original designs, graphic elements, assets and visual treatments.
• Be a design champion for how our event brands integrate partner or sponsor brands seamlessly and creatively.

You Will Have The Following Strengths:
• Experience working as a Designer delivering B2B creative & design solutions.
• Working experience of applying traditional and interactive design principles and solutions that deliver best-in-class presentation design, creative activation ideas, sponsorship activity mock-ups, sponsorship asset layouts, infographics etc.
• Understanding and passion for branding, typography, logos, colour palettes, event graphics, print and digital collateral.
• Mac proficiency with strong InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, PowerPoint skills.
• The ability to work with templates and style guides to deliver high-quality creative.
• A proven track record delivering multiple projects simultaneously to a high standard.
• Experience working with diverse internal and external stakeholders with varying objectives.
• Understanding and interest in the sports, media and the entertainment industry.

We'd Love If You Also Have These:
• Background in the sports, media and the entertainment industry.
• Previous experience concepting, designing and delivering creative solutions and assets within a fast-paced, live events environment would be desirable.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of the sports & lifestyle global sponsorship market – understanding why brands want to partner with live events & sports properties.
• A working knowledge of Figma, After Effects, Premiere, C4D, HTML/CSS, Photography, Illustration is all a plus, but not essential.
• Ability to think strategically, creatively and to communicate recommendations effectively to a variety of stakeholders.
• Succinct, effective and professional in all forms of communication, from personal to presentation.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure, multitask and prioritise to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring the team maintains the highest standards for every project, no matter how large or small.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative to drive creative thinking.
• Ability to collaborate and work both independently and alongside team members.
• Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups – solutions orientated.
