Department: Ad Sales & Traffic
Reports to: National Sales Manager
Classification: Full-time/Nonexempt
This position is based out of Space City Home Network office located at 1201 San Jacinto St., Houston, TX and reports to the National Sales Manager. The position requires daily presence at the office.
The National Sales Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to our Ad Sales, including order entry, preparing sales presentations, keeping accurate ratings information, inventory management and other client related needs. The candidate must be detail oriented, team oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Assist the sales team in the day-to-day operations of National sales including but not limited to inventory management, order entry, order management, ratings information.
• Work with National Sales Manager on new sales initiatives, to present to the sales staff.
• Work directly with the National Sales Manager on client order management and presentation materials.
• Work directly with national staff for posting, invoice management, and make good inventory.
• Assist national sales initiatives with key local client sponsorships.
• Manage sporting event tickets for client distribution.
• Work with research software to develop sales strategies for both local and national clients.
• Manage new client activity list and prospecting list for all national sales needs.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
Education and/or Experience & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in communications/journalism or like field preferred
• Proficient in use of Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent personal and communication skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must

• Experience in the sport media space preferred

Work Environment
Position will work in an indoor, outdoor, and stadium environment. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment. Must be able to work in all types of outdoor weather conditions and within a stadium environment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision. Ability to regularly work on your feet for long hours and climb stairs/ramps throughout the ballpark. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Travel
No travel will be expected for this position.
