Job Description
This is a new position, which will become part of a high functioning regional team responsible for localizing marketing and promotional content across HBO MAX, linear, networks, affiliates, original and local productions across TV (HBO Max platform) streaming and social media, covering content for some of the biggest titles for our WBD brands such as HBO Max and theatrical. The wider group covers long form theatrical, television, games, and short form content for WB theatrical.
The main role of the Co-ordinator is to manage the co-ordination of the d/ubbed and subtitled version trailers, marketing & publicity content of WBD for the EMEA regions, ensuring that our marketing content is effectively localized for TV audiences across various regions. The ideal candidate will have some understanding of localization processes and specifications for TV platforms & social media content types. Collaborating and coordinating across dubbing and subtitling vendors, in-house translation teams, local offices, 3rd parties to ensure all projects are completed on time and to high expectations. They should have excellent project management skill and a keen eye for detail. The professional will also be responsible for the linguistic and technical review, correction and translation of Localization Timed Text assets in accordance with company standards and guidelines with quality, efficiency, and timely basis.

Your Role Accountabilities…
This role is based in Budapest.
Localization ordering / QC and Delivery
Assists with planning and implementation of marketing Localization efforts for EMEA marketing content. Includes, but not limited to:
• Support the Global team with marketing schedules, comms, localization creative directives.
• Review all trailers, marketing, and publicity pieces as they are being finished to gain an understanding of the requirements of each piece.
• Handle sensitive and confidential material appropriately & securely
• Regular calls with our vendors and global teams to discuss delivery schedules and timelines.
• Liaise / order with dubbing studios & territory dubbing managers regarding recording, mixing and delivery schedule of d/ubbed mixes.
• Liaise with internal and external and internal localization vendors for subtitling and GFX/mastering orders
• They may need to perform Linguistic and Technical review and/or create translations and Timed Text assets for short format content (promos previews, interstitials, featurettes, specials). export multiple required formats and archive as required.
• They may need to perform Linguistic quality check of Timed text assets with reported issues. Adjust assets as required.
• Work with WB local office and vendors to ensure all d/ubbed and subtitled localization content are delivered and tracked within the agreed timelines. This includes scheduling with vendors within the appropriate timelines.
• Informing appropriate departments of new content availability and place orders for localized sub and dub files, tracking these orders through till the point of delivery.
• Create and approve purchase orders to vendors to start the work requested and reconcile POs when required.
• Conduct Quality Assurance checks to ensure compliance with localization standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain extensive tracking tools of all marketing assets that have been versioned across the company.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during localization/distribution of content.
• Provide support for other marketing operations activities as needed.
Innovation & Development:
Identify opportunity areas and work with the Global GCO localization team to make recommendations for workflow improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in localization to continuously improve processes and strategies.

Qualifications & Experience...
• Functional experience in localization preferably in marketing content within the TV or entertainment industry.
• Technically minded with a keen interest in new technologies and localization
• Prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Full command of proper written and spoken English
• Proper academic background in the areas of grammar, linguistic structure, and phonetics.
• Strong computer and typing skills.
• Experience using Subtitling software suites such as EZ Titles, Softni, Ooona, etc preferred
• Knowledge of subtitling file formats and techniques.
• Knowledge of text edition tools such as MS Word.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Additional language skills are advantageous
