JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox News is looking for an Engineering Logistics Operations Assistant to join our New York Bureau. As the Engineering Logistics Operations Assistant, you will be an integral part of the technical operations department, ensuring that our company facilities and field operations are properly equipped and in good operating condition.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Efficiently ship and receive equipment and materials daily
• Handle logistical needs
• Assist in managing equipment inventory
• Responsible for packing up and checking in/out field gear for assignments
• Interact effectively with staff at all levels
• Install and mount televisions and AV equipment

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Demonstrated interest in television production/field operations – prior television experience is helpful
• Proficiency in basic computer skills – experience with databases and spreadsheets is a plus
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all logistical details
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. and climb ladders
• Excellent interpersonal and personal communication skills
• Manage information efficiently and adapt quickly to new situations
• Ability to work independently and seamlessly in a team atmosphere
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts including overnights, early mornings, holidays, and/or weekends
• Experience with scissor lifts and forklifts is a plus

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $18.25-25.25 per hour for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
