JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox News is looking for a talented Booker/Associate Producer to join the top-rated weekend primetime show, Unfiltered with Dan Bongino. As the Booker/Associate Producer, you understand the importance of the ''first phone call'' and know what it takes to get the exclusive. You have the ability to find people via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and other social media sources. You can research breaking news stories and lock in last-minute bookings, and you have the right attitude and understand that landing the best and right guest can make or break a show. The Booker/Associate Producer will also assist in producing segments for the show.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Book a variety of guests including high-profile politicians and executives
• Assist with producing segments
• Pitch unique and interesting stories
• Conduct research and compile well-rounded pre-interviews
• Manage daily deadline turnarounds of a live-show
• Strategize with your colleagues on the best booking approaches

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in television
• Previous booking experience
• Strong writing skills and editorial judgment
• A passion for current events
• Possess a broad rolodex and can book people at the center of major news stories
• Willing and able to work under tight deadline pressures while juggling long-term bookings
• Must be willing to work weekends and late nights
