JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox News Channel is looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Producer for ''Outnumbered,'' the number one daytime show on cable news . As a Senior Producer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the show's daily content. You understand the essence of Outnumbered's unique format and style and can pitch new and original ideas in a collaborative team setting. As a natural leader with a track record of success, you can effectively communicate with on-air talent and rally a team behind you during fast-paced, breaking news situations. The Senior Producer has strong editorial skills and a wide range of interests from news and politics to pop culture and everything else in between.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build the show's rundown with original content and best elements while maintaining impeccable editorial standards
• Facilitate effective communication with the show's three co-hosts and two on-air guests
• Manage and communicate with talent, producers, bookers, and the control room during breaking news
• Identify and recognize stories with high potential for compelling television
• Mentor and develop show staff including Line Producers, Writers, Bookers, APs, and Production Assistants
• Approve and edit scripts, banners, and full screens
• Participate in daily team meetings to develop show content
• Oversee the execution and production of the show

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of newsroom experience, including producing / line producing a television newscast
• Demonstrated experience with handling on-air talent
• Exceptional editorial and writing skills
• Ability to recognize stories with high potential for compelling television
• Passion for storytelling with a strong creative drive and willingness to take risks
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, coupled with the ability to establish a team-oriented work atmosphere
• Attention to detail, an aptitude for working under tight deadlines, and effectively handling multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong interest and knowledge of current events, politics, and lifestyle topics

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $95,000.00-133,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
